The South Talladega Relay for Life Summit took place on May 13th at Central Park. Westview's area was decorated as a train to reinforce our T-shirt message, "All Aboard! Cruising the tracks for a cure." A lot of time and effort went into building our "train." Thanks to all involved. Our fundraising efforts really paid off this year--our most successful yet. All help, donations, time were very appreciated.

On Sunday evening, March 20th, our children's choir, "The Songbirds," performed for the enjoyment of parents, grandparents, relatives and friends. Due to rainy weather on March 19th, our Easter Egg Hunt was once again held indoors but that did nothing to subtract from the fun of the hunt! Eggs were found in plain eyesight, discreetly tucked away, and--apparently--hidden under furniture! Afterward there were goodies to eat, candy for all, and the telling of The Easter Story to share the true meaning of the day. More pictures located here.
